About These Terms

These terms apply when you use the Ring Timer app and this website. 'I' and 'me' refer to the independent developer who makes Ring Timer. By using the app or the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Using the App

You may install Ring Timer from Google Play and use it for your own training, and for classes or teams you coach. Please do not copy, sell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Free Features and Pro

The timer, the built-in presets and the lock-screen countdown are free. Pro is optional and unlocks extra features, such as Coach Mode and the Round Builder.

Pro is sold through Google Play as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Google Play shows the price before you buy. Prices can differ by country.

Subscriptions, Free Trials and Cancelling

• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
• If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
• You can cancel at any time in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policies.

Training Safety

Ring Timer is a training timer, not a medical device. You are responsible for training safely and within your limits. Consult a doctor before starting a new training program.

A phone can be muted, run out of battery or stop apps in the background to save power, and then a sound may not play. Check your phone's volume and battery settings before you train.

No Warranty

The app and this website are provided as is. I work to keep them correct and working, but I cannot promise that they will always be available, free of errors or suitable for every purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries that happen during your training. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

This Website

The text and screenshots on this website show the app as it was when each page was written. Features can change. How the website and the iPhone waitlist handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the app or the website after a change, the updated terms apply.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
